Talks & Visits

I regularly talk at schools, festivals & all sorts of events. If you’d like me to visit, please contact Anne Marley at Authors Aloud.

“Sam Angus came to our school to introduce her brilliant book ‘Soldier Dog’. The whole event was fantastic and successfully brought together different curriculum areas. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of how messenger dogs were trained and used during World War 1 and she shared this knowledge in an accessible and captivating way to an audience of 250 pupils aged between 10 and 13. Both during and after the talk the students were given plenty of opportunity to ask Sam any questions and to have their books signed.”

King Charles School, Kidderminster

“I just wanted to thank you so much for coming in today, we all so enjoyed your talk and the wonderful photos too! Absolutely fascinating stuff, I am sure your book will do amazingly well. We sold a lot of books, and already have a list of boys wanting to buy the book tomorrow, so the whole event was a great success!”
